Facebook is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the LATAM People Operations team with project management and operational implementation and support. The person in this new role will make an impact driving the implementation of process and system improvements of our LATAM operations. The person in this role will partner closely with the people operations, people@, tools, and legal teams.

(This is a Short Term Assignment of 11 months)Responsibilities
  • Responsible for coordinating initiatives on LATAM payroll operations, process improvements and automation
  • Partners with vendors on eSocial project management ensuring that requirements are mapped and needed changes are identified
  • Manage LATAM People Operations specific projects, including project development, launch, execution, performance, control, and close
  • Coordinates process documentation, identifying areas for improvement, automation and centralization within HR shared services
  • Contributes to the HR Shared Services organization by identifying opportunities for the centralization of activities
  • Provide feedback and make recommendations to management on process improvements, technology, training requirements, etc
  • Ensures updates on processes and policies are being documented and managed effectively and quality is improved
  • Manage and escalate system and processing issues with internal and external business partners
  • Establish metrics for projects and ensure performance against metrics is tracked and measured
  • Leverage best practices from industry in influencing and driving operational improvements
  • Analyze trends and consolidate data/information to present for review with primary stakeholders and drive decisions based on data
  • Proactively identify and communicate business issues.
Requirements
  • 5+ years experience in project management, HRIS or HR Operations
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship and partnership skills
  • Ability to work cross functionally and hold people accountable for deliverables without a formal reporting structure
  • Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills. Must have ability to effectively use data to drive recommendations
  • Strong project management and process improvement background
  • Excellent communication (written &, verbal), cross-group collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and lead multiple projects simultaneously involving various groups / locations / vendors
  • Must have strong organization skills, detail oriented, conscientious, thorough and accurate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and dealing with ambiguity
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel data analysis / manipulation, including pivot tables, V-lookups, and chart creation
  • Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc
  • BA/BS degree required
  • Experience with vendor management strongly desired
  • Strategic thinker must have experience in developing innovative workforce management strategies.
