As part of this transformation, the OEM team has enabled a Solution Specialist Professional, Windows Devices sales role to land in time zone lead areas, worldwide. These Windows Device roles are an elite team responsible for focus on direct compete scenarios against, some of our biggest competition as well as focus on breaking down development blockers for large scale device deals. This is one of the most exciting areas for both our customers and Microsoft as a company. The Solution Specialist Professional, Windows Devices role will be pivotal as we accelerate and transform the Windows device ecosystem to new levels while helping drive wins in competing against the best competition in the devices market. Key Responsibilities The Solution Specialist Professional, Windows Devices role will be responsible for articulating persuasively the key differentiators and competitive advantages of Microsoft OEM devices specifically for enterprise customers. Success will be measured by impact on sales through overall device/unit growth across both commercial and consumer platforms with targets along with revenue growth across the entire OEM Device Ecosystem including: PRO Unit Devices Windows IoT This requires an ability to quickly grasp both Microsoft & competitive device products and customer needs as primarily determined by business decision makers in enterprise customer organizations. The key initiatives in this role are: Representing OEM Device ecosystem in large scale deals across EPG sales verticals Drive OEM Devices to compete directly against Apple and Chrome Build and lead core v-team to quantify & resolve competitive sales blockers (incl. Product Marketing, Engineering, Business Architects, Application Development, Consulting Services and Hardware Partners, among others) The Solution Specialist Professional, Windows Devices role will need to Proactively engage with customers and sellers to win the most strategic competitive deals. As well as enable and scale competitive selling skills in field sellers ? focusing on the OEM Devices ecosystem.
